Private classes

Distance learning and in-person classes are available!

The Alliance Française provides customized private one-on-one private instruction as well as after school tutoring with fully qualified teachers.

Start any time and benefit from flexible scheduling and personalized instruction.

Note that private groups are possible, contact us to organize the class (afd@afdetroit.org).

Tutoring is available for adults, kids, and teens at all levels of proficiency. Lessons are tailored to address individual particular needs with flexible scheduling throughout the day or evening. Lessons take place at the Alliance Française center in Bingham farms or online.

If you are interested in a package of classes (10 hours or 20 hours), know we have a discount for members. Memberships start at $30 for a student (yearly membership).

We are flexible with the use of private classes hours for instance we can schedule 45min or 1h classes (typical for a kid), or 1h/1h30 classes for an adult: you can for instance buy 6 hours and schedule them into 8 classes (45min each) or 6 times 1h.

Note: if you can't attend a class, make sure to alert your teacher more than 24h before the class to be able to reschedule, otherwise the class is due.
