Traditionally on January 6, Epiphany Day, most people celebrate it on the first Sunday in January. Actually, it became the occasion also to exchange best wishes for the year, which French will do until the end of January. Thus, French people usually eat several galettes des Rois all through the month of January.

This year at the Alliance Francaise de Détroit we celebrated it on January 29th. All galettes (Parisian style) where home made by our French teachers. The event was located downtown Royal Oak at the Royal Oak United Methodist Church, a facility easily accessible and a warm atmosphere.
