The Alliance Française de Détroit is open all year round.

People can register for any session open, after taking a placement test (if not complete beginner). For francophone children, we recommend registering for the Fall session, but joining at a later date is still possible.

2025-2026

Classes from September 14th to November 21st, 2026

Thanksgiving break (22Nov-29Nov)

Registration begins on August 14th- Early bird prices until August 28th.

Classes from November 30th to January 16th 2027

Registration begins Nov.1st- Early bird prices (reduction) until November 13th.

Reminder: this session has a Holiday break from Dec.20th until Jan.3rd 2026 included

Classes from January 18th to March 26th, 2027

Registration begins on December 15th- early bird until Jan.5th

Spring break from March 27th until April 3rd, 2027

Classes from April 05th to June 19th, 2027

Registration begins March 08th- Early bird prices (reduction) until March 19th

Reminder: this session has a long week-end break in May: Saturday, May 29th until Monday, May 31st, 2027 included

JULY : Classes from June 29th to Aug. 1st, 2026

No class on Saturday July 04th.

AUGUST: Classes from August 3rd to Sept 5th, 2026

Registration begins on May 18th
